Positive: The area was beautiful.
Negative: The Lodge was very close to a very busy trunk road with HGV passing throughout the night. We did not sleep well the first night. We bought earplugs for everyone and using these we slept reasonably well.
Summary: Enjoyed the hiking in the lake district.
